Most of you know I am a smoothie girl but when it gets cold there are days that a crave a warm breakfast. One thing I make sure of with my breakfast is that it sets me up for the rest of the day. What sets me up for success is a breakfast low in sugar, high in fiber, and calms my gut. This is a recipes from @BeWellByKelly. She’s a celebrity health coach and really knows her stuff. Ingredients
1 tbsp ghee or coconut oil
1 cup almond milk
2 tbsp chia seed
2 tbsp flax seed
TOPPINGS:
3 tbsp hemp seed
1 serving protein powder
1/4 cup berries
2 tbsp nut butter
INSTRUCTIONS:
1. In a medium nonstick fry pan on medium heat, add ghee, almond milk, chia seed, and flax meal.
2. With a wooden spoon, continuously stir all ingredients until pudding is thick, about 3 minutes.
3. Add more almond milk if needed and add protein powder if using and mix well.
4. Pour warm pudding into a bowl than top with your desired toppings.
5. Serve warm.
